Welcome to our Cookies Policy

Effective Date: March 12, 2026  |  Last Updated: March 12, 2026

This Cookie Policy (the "Policy") explains how Eventic ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Eventic platform (the "Platform"), accessible at eventic.in. This Policy is issued in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) as implemented across EU member states, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and all other applicable laws governing the use of cookies and tracking technologies.

This Policy applies to all users of the Platform worldwide. It should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, which governs the broader processing of your personal data.

1. What Are Cookies & Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the website operator.

In addition to cookies, we may also use the following similar technologies, and references to "cookies" in this Policy include these technologies unless otherwise specified:

  1. Session storage and local storage: Browser-based storage mechanisms that allow websites to store data locally on your device for the duration of a session or persistently.
  2. Web beacons / pixel tags: Small transparent image files embedded in web pages or emails that record whether a page or email has been opened and other interaction data.
  3. Device fingerprinting: A technique that collects certain technical characteristics of your device to create a unique identifier for analytics and fraud prevention purposes.
  4. SDKs and tracking scripts: Third-party code embedded in our Platform (such as analytics libraries) that may set their own cookies or collect data directly.

Cookies may be first-party (set directly by Eventic) or third-party (set by third-party services operating on our Platform). They may be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until manually deleted).

2. Legal Basis for Setting Cookies

Under the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive / PECR, we are required to have a valid legal basis before placing cookies on your device (other than those that are strictly necessary):

  1. Strictly necessary cookies are placed on the basis of our legitimate interest and the performance of our contractual obligations to you. These do not require your consent because they are essential to deliver the service you have requested.
  2. All other cookies — including analytics, functionality, and advertising cookies — are placed only on the basis of your freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), obtained through our cookie consent mechanism prior to any non-essential cookie being set.

For users in the United States (California), non-essential cookies that involve the sharing of personal information with third parties for analytics or advertising constitute "sharing" under the CCPA/CPRA. You may opt out of such sharing at any time — see Section 7 of this Policy.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

Consent required: No
These cookies are indispensable for the Platform to operate and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are typically set in response to actions you take such as logging in, filling in forms, setting privacy preferences, or using security-critical features. Without these cookies, core services you have requested cannot be provided.

Examples of strictly necessary cookies we set:

3.2 Functionality / Preference Cookies

Consent required: Yes (for EEA, UK users)
These cookies enable the Platform to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, more personalised features. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have embedded on our pages.

Examples:

3.3 Analytics & Performance Cookies

Consent required: Yes
These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our Platform. They help us understand which pages are most and least popular, how visitors move through the Platform, and where errors occur. All information these cookies collect is aggregated or pseudonymised.

Analytics providers we use and their cookies:

3.4 Marketing & Advertising Cookies

Consent required: Yes
These cookies are used to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertisements on our Platform and on other websites. They do not store directly personal information, but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and internet device. These cookies are set only with your explicit prior consent.

If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising. Eventic does not currently operate a proprietary advertising network; however, third-party advertising or retargeting services may be integrated in the future, and this Policy will be updated accordingly.

6. Your Consent & Cookie Choices

7. California Residents — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information. The placement of certain third-party analytics and advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" of personal information (including online identifiers and browsing behaviour) under the CCPA/CPRA.

To exercise your right to opt out:

  1. Click "Cookie Settings" in the Platform footer and disable all non-essential cookie categories; or
  2. Submit a written request to privacy@eventic.in with the subject line "CCPA Opt-Out Request".

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights. For a full description of your California rights, please refer to Section 12 of our Privacy Policy.

8. International Data Transfers via Cookies

Some of the third-party services that set cookies via our Platform (such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) may transfer cookie-derived data to servers located outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom. Such transfers are conducted in accordance with applicable data transfer mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and adequacy decisions, as described in Section 6 of our Privacy Policy.

By accepting analytics or functionality cookies, you acknowledge that data collected through those cookies may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence.

9. Third-Party Cookies

Certain cookies on the Platform are set by third-party service providers. Eventic does not control the third-party cookies and is not responsible for their content or behaviour. Third-party cookies are governed by the respective third party's own privacy and cookie policies. We encourage you to review the policies of the following third parties whose cookies may be active on our Platform:

We do not knowingly use cookies to collect personal data from children under the applicable age threshold. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under the applicable age has provided consent to cookies through our Platform without your authorisation, please contact us at privacy@eventic.in.

11. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in applicable law, or updates to our Platform. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Where required by applicable law, we will re-obtain your consent for any new or materially changed non-essential cookies. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
