Welcome to our Payment Policy

Effective Date: March 10, 2026  |  Last Updated: March 10, 2026

This Payment Policy ("Policy") sets out the terms and conditions governing all financial transactions and subscription arrangements on the Eventic platform ("Platform"), operated by Eventic ("we", "us", or "our"). By purchasing any paid plan, template, or feature on the Platform, you ("User" or "Host") agree to be bound by this Policy in its entirety. This Policy applies to all users worldwide.

1. Platform Pricing Model

Eventic operates on a freemium model combined with a usage-based pricing structure. Access to certain templates and features is provided free of charge up to defined usage limits, while premium templates, extended functionality, and longer validity periods are available at applicable charges as published on the Platform at the time of selection.

1.1 Free Tier

Users may access the Free Tier without any payment obligation, subject to the following limitations (which may be amended by Eventic from time to time):

  1. A selection of free-tier invitation templates is available for creation and use for a limited initial period as specified on the Platform at the time of creation.
  2. The RSVP feature is available free of charge for invitations with a guest list of up to fifty (50) guests. RSVP functionality for guest lists exceeding this threshold requires the purchase of an applicable paid RSVP add-on.
  3. Free-tier invitations are subject to default validity periods as defined by the Platform. Extensions to validity periods require the purchase of additional validity days at the applicable rate.
  4. Certain features — including but not limited to background music, video embeds, premium QR code branding, custom RSVP forms, and advanced analytics — are not available under the Free Tier and require payment.
  5. Free-tier access may be subject to Platform branding, usage caps, or other restrictions as determined by Eventic.

1.2 Paid Templates

Certain premium invitation templates are subject to a one-time or per-invitation charge as displayed on the Platform. The applicable charge for each template is shown prior to selection and must be confirmed by the User before checkout. Template charges are non-transferable and apply solely to the specific invitation for which the template is purchased.

1.3 Paid Features & Add-Ons

The following categories of features are available on a paid basis. Specific pricing for each feature is published within the Platform and may be updated from time to time:

  1. Extended RSVP capacity: Applicable where the guest list exceeds the included free limit of fifty (50) guests.
  2. Background music: Integration of licensed or user-uploaded audio tracks into the invitation experience. Note that the User bears sole responsibility for the copyright compliance of any audio content uploaded — see Section 6.
  3. Video embeds: Inclusion of video content within the invitation. The User bears sole responsibility for the copyright compliance of any video content uploaded — see Section 6.
  4. Extended validity periods: Additional days of invitation accessibility beyond the default free period, charged on a per-day or per-block basis as specified at checkout.
  5. Premium QR codes: Branded or customised QR code generation for invitation access.
  6. Custom domains & shareable links: Personalised URL structures for the invitation.
  7. Advanced RSVP forms: Custom data fields, meal preferences, attendance tracking beyond the standard RSVP module.
  8. Analytics & tracking: Detailed guest engagement analytics, open rates, and RSVP conversion data.
  9. Priority support: Dedicated support response with reduced response time SLAs.

2. How Pricing Is Determined

The total charge for a Paid Invitation is calculated based on two primary variables:

  1. Validity Duration: The total number of days for which the invitation will remain active and accessible to recipients. Longer validity periods incur higher charges. The per-day or per-block pricing applicable at the time of creation governs the final charge.
  2. Selected Features: Each paid feature or add-on selected during the invitation creation process adds a corresponding charge to the total. The cumulative cost of all selected paid features and the chosen validity period constitutes the total amount due at checkout.

A detailed cost summary, reflecting all selected components and applicable taxes, will be presented to the User on the checkout page for review and confirmation prior to payment. The User's completion of the payment process constitutes express acceptance of the displayed charges.

3. Billing & Payment Terms

3.1 Accepted Payment Methods

Eventic accepts payments through the payment methods made available on the Platform at the time of checkout, which may include credit cards, debit cards, net banking, UPI, digital wallets, and international payment gateways. Accepted methods may vary by region. All payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processors. Eventic does not store full card details on its servers.

3.2 Currency

Prices displayed on the Platform are in the currency applicable to your region as shown at checkout. International transactions may be subject to currency conversion by your bank or card issuer. Eventic is not responsible for any exchange rate fluctuations or conversion fees imposed by third parties.

3.3 Taxes

All displayed prices are inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes (including GST, VAT, or equivalent), as specified at checkout in accordance with the laws applicable in the User's jurisdiction. Users are solely responsible for determining and meeting any tax obligations applicable to them under local law.

3.4 Payment Authorisation

By submitting a payment, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are authorised to use the payment method provided; (b) the payment information you supply is accurate and complete; and (c) charges incurred will be honoured by your financial institution. Eventic reserves the right to cancel or refuse access to an invitation or feature in the event of a failed, declined, or fraudulent payment.

3.5 Failed Payments & Access Suspension

If a payment fails or is subsequently reversed, Eventic reserves the right to suspend or deactivate the associated invitation or feature add-on without notice. Eventic shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from such suspension.

4. Free Trial Periods & Template Expiry

Certain templates or features may be made available for a limited free trial period as specified on the Platform. Upon the expiry of the free trial period:

  1. The invitation created under the free trial may become inaccessible to recipients unless the User upgrades to a paid plan or purchases additional validity days.
  2. Eventic does not guarantee the availability of the same trial terms in the future and reserves the right to modify or discontinue free trial offerings at any time.
  3. No refund or compensation is due for the expiry of a free trial or a free-tier invitation's validity period.

5. Transparency & No Hidden Charges

Eventic is committed to transparent pricing. The total amount payable, inclusive of all applicable feature charges, validity costs, and taxes, will be clearly itemised and presented to the User at checkout before any payment is processed. No additional charges will be applied after checkout confirmation without the User's express consent.

In the event of any discrepancy between the price displayed at checkout and the amount charged, the User should contact support@eventic.in within seven (7) days of the transaction.

6. Intellectual Property & Copyright Responsibility for Uploaded Media

The Platform enables Users to incorporate certain media content into their digital invitations, including but not limited to audio tracks ("Music"), video files ("Video"), photographs, graphic assets, and other creative works (collectively referred to as "Uploaded Media").

Eventic provides only the technical infrastructure that facilitates the upload, storage, and playback of Uploaded Media within digital invitations. Eventic does not review, pre-screen, endorse, or take ownership of any Uploaded Media.

By uploading any Media to the Platform, the User expressly represents, warrants, and undertakes that:

  1. They are the original creator and sole rights holder of the Uploaded Media, or they have obtained all necessary licences, consents, clearances, and permissions from the applicable rights holders — including but not limited to copyright owners, performing rights organisations, music publishers, and record labels — prior to uploading such content to the Platform.
  2. The Uploaded Media does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyright, neighbouring rights, trade marks, rights of publicity, moral rights, or any other proprietary rights.
  3. The use of the Uploaded Media within the invitation does not violate any applicable law, regulation, or licensing agreement, including but not limited to laws governing copyright, digital rights management, and public performance.
  4. They will, at their own expense, obtain and maintain all licences and clearances necessary for the lawful use of the Uploaded Media throughout the validity period of the invitation.

Eventic expressly disclaims all liability arising from any claim, action, demand, loss, cost, or expense (including legal fees) arising out of or related to the Uploaded Media, including claims of copyright infringement, unlicensed use of music or video, violation of performing rights obligations, or any other intellectual property dispute. The User (Host or Invitation Creator) shall be solely and fully responsible for all such claims and shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Eventic, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any such claims.

Eventic reserves the right — but not the obligation — to remove any Uploaded Media that it reasonably believes, upon receipt of a valid complaint or court order, to infringe the intellectual property rights of a third party, without prior notice to the User and without liability for any resulting disruption to the invitation.

7. Updates to This Policy

Eventic reserves the right to revise this Payment Policy at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on the Platform with an updated effective date. Eventic will endeavour to notify Users of material changes via the Platform or by email where reasonably practicable. Continued use of the Platform following any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. The version of this Policy applicable at the time of a transaction shall govern that transaction.
