Welcome to our Refund Policy

This Refund Policy ("Policy") forms part of the legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Host", or "Invitation Creator") and Eventic ("we", "us", or "our") and governs all refund requests arising from transactions made on the Eventic platform ("Platform"). By completing a purchase on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Policy. This Policy applies to all users worldwide.



1. Definitions


  1. "Paid Invitation" refers to any digital invitation created using a paid template, a paid feature add-on, or any combination thereof, for which a charge was successfully processed through the Platform.
  2. "Free Invitation" refers to any invitation created using a free-tier template and exclusively free features within their applicable usage limits.
  3. "Validity Period" refers to the duration, expressed in days, for which an invitation is set to remain active and accessible to its recipients, as selected by the Host at the time of creation.
  4. "Feature Add-On" refers to any paid functionality applied to an invitation, including but not limited to extended RSVP capacity, background music, video embeds, premium custom domains, QR code branding, and extended validity periods.
  5. "Review Period" refers to the forty-eight (48) hour period commencing immediately upon the confirmed creation of a Paid Invitation, during which a refund request may be submitted and reviewed by Eventic.


2. Refund Eligibility


2.1 Refundable Transactions


Subject to the conditions set forth in Section 3 of this Policy, a User may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:


  1. A refund request is submitted within the Review Period — that is, within forty-eight (48) hours of the date and time the Paid Invitation was successfully created on the Platform.
  2. The Paid Invitation has not been shared with or viewed by any guest or recipient at the time the refund request is received.
  3. The charge was made in error due to a technical fault, duplicate billing, or an unauthorised transaction attributable to a Platform-side error.
  4. A paid feature or premium template was demonstrably not delivered, rendered non-functional, or materially different from its described specification through no fault of the User.

2.2 Non-Refundable Transactions


The following charges are expressly non-refundable:


  1. Any amount paid for a Free-tier template upgrade, feature add-on, or validity extension where the refund request is submitted after the forty-eight (48) hour Review Period.
  2. Charges for any Paid Invitation that has been shared, previewed, or accessed by one or more guests or recipients prior to the submission of the refund request.
  3. Charges attributable to additional validity days selected and activated by the User, where such validity period has already commenced.
  4. Feature add-on charges where the feature was successfully activated, rendered, and available for use at the time of the refund request, regardless of whether the User utilised the feature.
  5. Any charge arising from the User's own failure to review the invitation before sharing it, including typographical errors, incorrect event details, or dissatisfaction with creative choices.
  6. Charges for template designs, customisation work, or digital assets that have been downloaded, rendered, or otherwise delivered in digital form.
  7. Subscription or access fees, where applicable, once the billing period has commenced.
  8. Charges disputed solely on the basis of a change of mind after the Review Period.


3. Conditions & Review Process


All refund requests are subject to review and approval by Eventic at its sole and reasonable discretion. Approval of a refund request is not guaranteed. Eventic reserves the right to assess each request on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the specific circumstances of the transaction, the User's account history, and evidence submitted.


Upon receipt of a valid refund request, Eventic will:


  1. Acknowledge receipt of the request within two (2) business days;
  2. Review the request, including any relevant Platform logs, usage records, and supporting documentation provided by the User;
  3. Communicate its decision — approval, partial approval, or rejection — within five (5) to seven (7) business days of receiving the request;
  4. If approved, process the refund to the original payment method within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days, subject to the processing timelines of the applicable payment processor and financial institution.

Eventic does not guarantee any specific processing time once a refund has been approved and initiated, as final settlement depends on third-party payment processors and banking systems beyond our control.



4. How to Submit a Refund Request


To submit a refund request, the User must contact Eventic support within the applicable Review Period via:



The request must include the following information:


  1. Full name and registered email address associated with the account
  2. Order ID, Transaction ID, or Invitation ID as applicable
  3. Date and time of the transaction
  4. A clear description of the reason for the refund request
  5. Any supporting evidence (screenshots, error messages, etc.) where applicable

Incomplete requests or requests that do not include sufficient identifying information may be delayed or declined. Eventic reserves the right to request additional verification before processing any refund.



5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes


Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer without first contacting Eventic to resolve the matter constitutes a breach of this Policy. Eventic reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate the accounts of Users who initiate fraudulent or bad-faith chargebacks. We will contest all chargebacks that we reasonably believe to be unwarranted by providing relevant transaction and usage evidence to the payment processor.

6. Service Disruptions & Technical Issues


In the event of a verifiable, Platform-wide technical disruption or outage that substantially prevents a User from accessing paid features or services for a continuous period exceeding twenty-four (24) hours, Eventic may, at its sole discretion, offer a proportional credit to the affected User's account. Such credits are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and must be used within ninety (90) days of issuance.



7. Currency, Taxes & Deductions


All refunds will be processed in the original currency of the transaction. Eventic is not responsible for any currency conversion losses, exchange rate fluctuations, or bank charges incurred as a result of the refund transaction. Any applicable taxes, including but not limited to Goods and Services Tax (GST), Value Added Tax (VAT), or Sales Tax, that were collected as part of the original transaction may not be refundable in jurisdictions where such taxes are non-recoverable once remitted to the applicable tax authority.



8. Amendments to This Policy


Eventic reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. Users are encouraged to review this Policy periodically. The version of this Policy in effect at the time of a transaction shall govern any refund request arising from that transaction.
