Editorial Policy

Eventic ("we", "us", or "our") publishes articles and guides on event planning, invitation etiquette, wording, and cultural traditions across weddings, engagements, birthdays, and other occasions. This Editorial Policy explains how that content is researched, written, sourced, and corrected, so readers know what standard it's held to.
1. How We Research and Write
Articles are planned and written by or under the direction of Eventic's editorial team, drawing on established etiquette references, event-planning experience, and, where relevant, guidance from vendors and planners we work with. Every article is reviewed before publishing for accuracy and clarity. Author bylines appear on articles where a named author is credited; each byline links to that author's profile.
2. Muhurat and Cultural or Religious Information
Articles referencing muhurat timings, panchang details, or religious and cultural customs are sourced from published panchang references and established community and priest-community conventions for the relevant tradition. Because muhurat dates and auspicious timings are calendar-dependent and vary by region and calculation method, we treat this information as general guidance rather than a substitute for consulting a family priest, pandit, or local authority for a specific date or ceremony. Date-dependent content of this kind is reviewed and refreshed at least once a year, or sooner if an error is reported.
3. Wording Samples and Templates
Invitation wording samples, message templates, and caption examples published on the Site are written in-house by Eventic's editorial team. They are original compositions intended as customisable starting points, not reproductions of any third party's copyrighted text.
4. Use of AI Tools in Content Creation
Eventic's editorial team uses AI tools to assist with parts of the content process — including research assistance, drafting, and generating variations of wording samples and templates. AI assistance is a starting point, not a substitute for editorial judgement: every article is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by a member of our editorial team before publishing, who takes responsibility for its accuracy and quality. Muhurat, panchang, and other culturally or religiously sensitive content in particular is checked against the published references described in Section 2 above, rather than relied on from an AI tool's output alone.
Where images are AI-generated rather than photographed or licensed, we aim to identify them as such in the surrounding context.
5. Advertising and Affiliate Links
Some articles contain affiliate links or Google-served advertising. Editorial decisions — what to write about and what to recommend — are made independently of these commercial relationships; a product's inclusion is never determined by whether it earns a commission. 6. Corrections
If you spot a factual error, an outdated date, or a broken link, we want to know. Verified corrections are made to the published article as soon as practical. For a material correction — one that changes a fact central to the article, such as a date or a figure — we note the date of the correction at the bottom of the article. Minor fixes, such as typos or formatting, are made without a separate note.
7. Amendments to This Policy
We may update this Editorial Policy as our editorial process evolves. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to the Site, with an updated "Last Updated" date above.
