What to include

A practical note: if the ceremony has a fixed muhurat, write "[Time] sharp" rather than "[Time] onwards." Indian guests read "onwards" as flexible, and priests don't.

Common mistakes

Only one time listed when there's a ceremony. Guests miss the homam or arrive four hours early for lunch. List both.

"Onwards" on a muhurat timing. Write "sharp."

Grandparents left off a formal invite. In many families this is noticed and remembered. If elders are attending, name them.

Details buried below line five. On WhatsApp, anything past the preview gets missed.

English-only for a mixed guest list. If older relatives are more comfortable in Hindi or a regional language, send them that version. It takes two minutes and it lands very differently.
